Forex broker review and best forex broker recommendation

For most people who have daily jobs, it is difficult to trade forex in office time. Thanks for the smart phones, we can trade with phones. I am using iPhone, I can only find two companies who has forex apllication for iphone traders. I don't choose oanda, because I had bad time when I fund my acount the first time. It took forever and nobody follow up with my complains. Also its small leverage and crazy pips spead during news time is nightmare for traders.

The other one is quite good and provide tight pips spread and a lot of services. My friends strongly recommend me use it and until now I am quite happy! It is your choice for this best iphone forex broker! They are pleased to offer you a choice of 3 different spread options: ECN Premier, Variable and Fixed spreads. You can choose the one suits your need.

Dollar and Yen Rally ahead of FOMC Announcement and BoE Inflation Report

Dollar is extending recent rally against most major currencies, helped by sharp falls in yen crosses, as traders are awaiting FOMC announcement today. Sterling remains pressured ahead of the highly anticipated BoE Quarterly Inflation Report. Commodity currencies are hardest hit, extending yesterday's sharp fall against dollar and yen, and the selloff accelerates following broad based weakness in Asian stocks and commodities. Yen crosses also dive sharply, with support from the sharp reversal in treasury yield as well and weak equities.

Preview On FOMC Meeting: Less Dovish Tone Anticipated

The FOMC meeting on August 12 is the highlight of the week and the several things we will be focusing on are 1) How will the Fed handle the asset purchase program which will expire in September; 2) if the Fed will drop the statement that 'the Committee will maintain the target range for the federal funds rate at 0 to 1/4 percent and continues to anticipate that economic conditions are likely to warrant exceptionally low levels of the federal funds rate for an extended period' and 3) any change on the Fed's forecasts given recent improvements in economic data.

Candlesticks & Ichimioku Analysis

Trade Idea: GBP/USD - Sell At 1.6575, O.C.O. Buy At 1.6320

As the British pound has remained under pressure, suggesting the reversal from 1.7044 top is still in progress and further fall towards 1.6388 (61.8% Fibonacci retracement of 1.5983 to 1.7044) is under way, however, as hourly oscillators would display bullish convergence on such a fall, reckon 1.6320/25 (approx. 50% projection of 1.6837 to 1.6431 measuring from 1.6528) would limit downside and price should stay above support at 1.6266 and bring rebound later.

Trade Idea: USD/CHF - Buy At 1.0750

As dollar has traded narrowly after early rise to 1.0885, retaining our view that further consolidation below said resistance would take place and another corrective fall to 1.0768 (38.2% Fibonacci retracement of 1.0576 to 1.0885) cannot be ruled out, however, reckon the Ichimoku cloud top (now at 1.0749) would limit downside and 1.0731 (50% Fibonacci retracement) should contain pullback and bring another upmove. Above resistance at 1.0885/91 would extend the rise from 1.0563 low towards 1.0935/40.

Trade Idea: EUR/USD - Sell At 1.4225

The single currency remained confined inside narrow range of 1.4104 -1.4186 and further consolidation would take place, however, as long as said support level holds, another corrective rebound to 1.4223/27 (38.2% Fibonacci retracement of 1.4415-1.4104 and current level of the flat ground Ichimoku cloud bottom) but price should stay below the Kijun-Sen (now at 1.4264), bring another selloff later. Break of 1.4104 support would extend the decline from 1.4448 top to 1.4067 (61.8% Fibonacci retracement of entire rise from 1.3832), however, as hourly oscillators are displaying bullish convergence, downside should be limited and price would stay well above chart support at 1.4007.

Trade Idea: USD/JPY - Sell At 96.50, O.C.O. Buy At 95.00

Although the greenback has remained under pressure and the decline from 97.79 top may extend towards 94.96/95.05 (current level of the Ichimoku cloud bottom and previous support), as near term downward momentum is weakening, downside should be limited to 94.63 and support at 94.36 would hold and bring rebound later. On the upside, expect renewed selling interest to emerge around the Kijun-Sen (now at 96.40) and bring another selloff later.

GBP/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6431; (P) 1.6477; (R1) 1.6523; More

GBP/USD's fall extends further to as low as 1.6390 so far today and at this point, intraday bias remains on the downside as long as 1.6522 minor resistance holds. Further decline should be seen to 1.6338 support as well as trend line at around same level. Decisive break there will raise the odds that medium term rebound has completed at 1.7043 will bring further fall towards 1.5983 key support for confirmation. On the upside, above 1.6522 will turn intraday outlook neutral first and bring consolidation. But recovery should be limited below 1.6832 resistance and bring fall resumption.

Action Insight Mid-Day Report

Commodity Currencies Tumble While European Majors Consolidate

While European majors remain steadily in range, commodity currencies are generally lower against the greenback in early US session. In particular Canadian dollar is leading the way, diving through 1.1 level against dollar while Australian dollar also dips through 0.83 level against dollar briefly. Commodities are generally soft with crude oil trying to get rid of 70 support while gold continues to hover below 950. On the other hand, yen crosses continue to give back last week's gain as stocks in US open mildly lower.

Elliott Wave Analysis

GBP/CHF Elliott Wave Analysis

Although the British pound rose to 1.8091 last week, as price has retreated after faltering below previous resistance at 1.8114, suggesting further consolidation below there would take place and it is quite possible that we have a failure 5th formed at 1.8091 and downside bias is seen for correction to 1.7600, then towards 1.7448 . However, we need to see a daily close below support at 1.7391 to confirm this count and signal the wave c as well as entire wave 4 has ended at 1.5122, bring further fall to 1.7000.

GBP/USD Elliott Wave Analysis

Although the British pound rose to fresh 2009 high of 1.7044 last week as expected, the retreat from there suggests the wave (v) from 1.5983 could have ended there and consolidation with downside bias is seen for correction to 1.6338 and a daily close below there would add credence to this view and bring further fall to 1.6200, then 1.5983.

Candlesticks & Ichimioku Analysis

GBPUSD Candlesticks and Ichimoku Analysis

Despite rising to a fresh 2009 high of 1.7044 last week, the British pound was unable to close above the Ichimoku cloud top, then retreated from there and closed near the week's low, leaving a shooting star candlestick pattern on the weekly chart, suggesting a temporary top has been formed and the development of this week becomes critical. If a long black candlestick is formed, this would confirm this view and bring correction of recent upmove to 1.6100, then test of 1.5983 support and later towards 1.5721(50% Fibonacci retracement of 1.4398 to 1.7044).

USDCHF Candlesticks and Ichimoku Analysis

Although the greenback fell marginally to 1.0563 last week, the rebound on Friday suggests a temporary low is possibly formed there and 1-2 weeks of consolidation would take place with mild upside bias, however, a weekly close above resistance at 1.1026 (this would also break the flat ground Ichimoku cloud bottom) would confirm this view and bring correction of the intermediate fall from 1.1967 to the Ichimoku cloud top (now at 1.1205), then 1.1265 (50% Fibonacci retracement of 1.1967 to 1.0563 as well as current level of the Kijun-Sen).

EUR/JPY's pullback from 138.70 extended further today and touching of 136.47 support, together with mild bearish divergence conditions in 4 hours MACD and RSI, suggests that a short term top is likely in place. Risk is turns to the downside and break of near term trend line support (now at 136.36) will bring deeper fall to 132.77 support or below. On the upside, while some recovery might be seen, short term outlook will now stay neutral as long as 138.70/139.21 resistance zone holds.

Dollar Retreats Mildly, Yen Crosses Pressing Near Term Support

Dollar stabilizes in Asia and retreats mildly in early European trading after another round of buying in last US session. Yen followed and extended gain following weaker than expected industrial production data from China which nevertheless showed 10.8% yoy gain. Nevertheless, yen crosses lost steam after hitting near term support levels. Some consolidations would likely be seen today as traders would probably lighten positions ahead of tomorrow's FOMC announcement. After all, Sterling remains the biggest loser this week so far while Canadian dollar is catching up as crude oil's rally stalls at 70 level.

Trade Idea: USD/CHF - Buy At 1.0750

Despite rising to 1.0885 yesterday, as dollar has retreated after faltering below indicated resistance at 1.0891, suggesting consolidation below there would take place and retracement of the rise from 1.0576 to 1.0768 (38.2% Fibonacci retracement of 1.0576 to 1.0885) is likely, however, reckon the Ichimoku cloud top (now at 1.0749) would limit downside and 1.0731 (50% Fibonacci retracement) should contain downside and bring another rally. Above 1.0891 would extend the rise from 1.0563 low towards 1.0935/40.

Trade Idea: GBP/USD - Sell At 1.6600

The British pound tumbled to as low as 1.6431 yesterday and although the recovery from there suggests minor consolidation would take place, upside should be limited to the Tenkan-Sen (now at 1.6576) and renewed selling should emerge below 1.6634 (50% Fibonacci retracement of 1.6837 to 1.6431) and bring another decline. Below said support would extend towards 1.6388 (61.8% Fibonacci retracement of 1.5983 to 1.7044) but support at 1.6338 would remain intact.

Trade Idea: EUR/USD - Sell At 1.4250

Despite falling to as low as 1.4104 yesterday, the 'doji' star formed there together with the subsequent recovery suggest minor consolidation above this level would take place and recovery to 1.4219/23 (previous resistance and 38.2% Fibonacci retracement of 1.4415 to 1.4104 respectively and also just below the Ichimoku cloud bottom at 1.4226) is likely, however, renewed selling should emerge below 1.4260 (50% Fibonacci retracement of 1.4415 to 1.4104) and bring another decline. Below said support would extend marginal decline but as hourly oscillators are showing bullish convergence already, downside should be limited to 1.4067 (61.8% Fibonacci retracement of entire rise from 1.3832) and price would stay well above chart support at 1.4007.

Trade Idea: USD/JPY - Hold Long Entered At 96.70

Although the greenback retreated to 96.55 this morning, as long as price is able to hold above 96.10-21 (61.8% Fibonacci retracement of 95.05 to 97.79 and current level of the Kijun-Sen), bullishness remains for recent rise to resume after consolidation. Above last Friday's high at 97.79 would extend upmove from 91.73 to 98.00 and possibly towards 98.40/50 but strong resistance at 98.90 should hold from there and bring pullback later.
