Forex broker review and best forex broker recommendation

For most people who have daily jobs, it is difficult to trade forex in office time. Thanks for the smart phones, we can trade with phones. I am using iPhone, I can only find two companies who has forex apllication for iphone traders. I don't choose oanda, because I had bad time when I fund my acount the first time. It took forever and nobody follow up with my complains. Also its small leverage and crazy pips spead during news time is nightmare for traders.

The other one is quite good and provide tight pips spread and a lot of services. My friends strongly recommend me use it and until now I am quite happy! It is your choice for this best iphone forex broker! They are pleased to offer you a choice of 3 different spread options: ECN Premier, Variable and Fixed spreads. You can choose the one suits your need.

An anonymous reader writes "I'm a soon-to-be Master's graduate from a
public university majoring in computer science with all that CS
entails. Of course, it's come time to start job hunting, and while there
are a few actual CS-type jobs around, I've noticed that a few IT jobs
would be substantially more convenient for me personally. But this leads
me to the question (assuming they would hire me, of course) would
having IT experience hurt my job prospects down the road? Would future
employers see that and be less likely to hire me or pigeon-hole me into
IT?"

An anonymous reader writes "For years, robots have been replacing workers
in factories as technology has come to grips with high-volume, unskilled
labor. An article in Slate makes the case that the robot workforce is
poised to [0]move into fields that require significantly more training
and education. From the article: 'In the next decade, we'll see machines
barge into areas of the economy that we'd never suspected possible

your lawsuits, making fundamental scientific discoveries, and even
writing stories just like this one. Economic theory holds that as these
industries are revolutionized by technology, prices for their services

research, I found this argument convincing robotic lawyers, for
instance, will bring cheap legal services to the masses who can't afford
lawyers today. But there's a dark side, too: Imagine you've spent three
years in law school, two more years clerking, and the last decade trying
to make partner and now here comes a machine that can do much of your
$400-per-hour job faster, and for a fraction of the cost. What do you do

PST the [1]A Million Amazonian Monkeys project successfully recreated A
Lover's Complaint. This is the first time a work of Shakespeare has
actually been randomly reproduced. It is one small step for a monkey, one
giant leap for virtual primates everywhere. From the article: 'For this
project, I used Hadoop, Amazon EC2, and Ubuntu Linux. Since I dont have
real monkeys, I have to create fake Amazonian Map Monkeys. The Map
Monkeys create random data in ASCII between a and z. It uses Sean Lukes
Mersenne Twister to make sure I have fast, random, well behaved monkeys.
Once the monkeys output is mapped, it is passed to the reducer which
runs the characters through a Bloom Field membership test. If the monkey
output passes the membership test, the Shakespearean works are checked
using a string comparison. If that passes, a genius monkey has written 9
characters of Shakespeare. The source material is all of Shakespeares
works as taken from Project Gutenberg.'"

alphadogg writes "Researchers have been working on quantum systems for
more than a decade, in the hopes of developing super-tiny, super-powerful
computers. And while there is still plenty of excitement surrounding
quantum computing, significant roadblocks are causing some to [0]question
whether quantum computing will ever make it out of the lab. 'Artur Ekert,
professor of Quantum Physics, Mathematical Institute at the University of
Oxford, says physicists today can only control a handful of quantum bits,
which is adequate for quantum communication and quantum cryptography, but
nothing more. He notes that it will take a few more domesticated qubits
to produce quantum repeaters and quantum memories, and even more to
protect and correct quantum data. "Add still a few more qubits, and we
should be able to run quantum simulations of some quantum phenomena and
so forth. But when this process arrives to 'a practical quantum computer'
is very much a question of defining what 'a practical quantum computer'
really is. The best outcome of our research in this field would be to
discover that we cannot build a quantum computer for some very
fundamental reason, then maybe we would learn something new and something
profound about the laws of nature," Ekert says.'"

edumacator writes "It seems Microsoft is working on an interesting
concept for smartphones, or maybe they are just adding to their patent
war chest. From the article: 'A recent Microsoft patent describes [0]a
smartphone with a slide-out section that can house one of several
modules, including a QWERTY keyboard, a gaming pad, a second display or a
battery pack. Even better: The modules work wirelessly when they aren't
docked in the smartphone's slider. Another useful way the modular
smartphone concept could be used: The keyboard can be used as a
controller while the smartphone acts as a TV-connected media hub.'"

software development projects, including encouraging community
involvement, the importance of programming tools, and ensuring the
project stays on track. For instance, regarding getting people to
contribute to your project, he says, 'If you start off with some
"kumba-ya feeling" where you think people from all the world are going to
come together to make a better world by working together on your project,
you probably won't be going very far.'"

| SCADA Problems Too Big To Call 'Bugs,' Says DHS

chicksdaddy writes "With the one year anniversary of Stuxnet upon us, a
senior cybersecurity official at the Department of Homeland Security says
the agency is reevaluating [0]whether it makes sense to warn the public
about all of the security failings of industrial control system (ICS) and
SCADA software used to control the U.S.'s critical infrastructure. DHS
says it is rethinking the conditions under which it will use security
advisories from ICS-CERT to warn the public about security issues in ICS
products. The changes could recast certain kinds of vulnerabilities as
'design issues' rather than a security holes. No surprise: independent
ICS experts like Ralph Langner worry that DHS is [1]ducking
responsibility for forcing changes that will secure the software used to
run the nation's critical infrastructure. 'This radically cuts the amount
of vulnerabilities in the ICS space by roughly 90%, since the vast
majority of security "issues" we have are not bugs, but design flaws,'
Langner writes on his blog. 'So today everybody has gotten much more
secure because so many vulnerabilities just disappeared.'"

+--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few weeks back, we posted a story here that [0]described Koomey's Law,
which (in the spirit of [1]Moore's Law) identifies a long-standing trend
in computer technology. While Moore's prediction centers on the
transistor density of microprocessors, Jonathan Koomey focuses instead on
computing efficiency in a nutshell, computing power per watt, rather
than only per square nanometer. In particular, he asserts that [2]the
energy efficiency of computing doubles every 1.5 years. (He points out
that calling this a "law" isn't his idea, or his doing but it's sure a
catchy turn of phrase.) Koomey has agreed to respond to your questions
about his research and conclusions in the world of computing efficiency.
Please observe the [3]Slashdot interview guidelines: ask as many
questions as you want, but please keep them to one per comment.

[0]astroengine writes "The first exoplanet ever to be directly imaged by
the Hubble space telescope [1]may not exist. In 2008, the world was in
awe of the famous 'Eye of Sauron' image of the star Fomalhaut's dusty
ring plus a slowly moving object that was [2]identified as Fomalhaut b,
a gas giant world approximately three times the mass of Jupiter. However,
due to a strange orbital misstep detected between 2008 and 2009
photographs, [3]the validity of Fomalhaut b's detection is being
questioned, generating some controversy in the exoplanet community."
