Forex broker review and best forex broker recommendation

For most people who have daily jobs, it is difficult to trade forex in office time. Thanks for the smart phones, we can trade with phones. I am using iPhone, I can only find two companies who has forex apllication for iphone traders. I don't choose oanda, because I had bad time when I fund my acount the first time. It took forever and nobody follow up with my complains. Also its small leverage and crazy pips spead during news time is nightmare for traders.

The other one is quite good and provide tight pips spread and a lot of services. My friends strongly recommend me use it and until now I am quite happy! It is your choice for this best iphone forex broker! They are pleased to offer you a choice of 3 different spread options: ECN Premier, Variable and Fixed spreads. You can choose the one suits your need.

phx_zs writes "Today marks the tenth consecutive day that thousands of
protesters have flooded the streets of Manhattan, specifically the
financial district. ... Sunday marked a change of events as high-ranking
NYPD officers exhibited brutal, unprovoked aggression on the peaceful
group, reportedly arresting at least 80 people. Many [0]photos and videos
have surfaced of NYPD officers slamming protesters on the ground or into
parked cars, and in one [1]well-covered incident a NYPD officer (with
pending police brutality charges from 2004) [2]maced innocent female
protesters point blank for no apparent reason. Many eyewitnesses and
several news articles report that the NYPD [3]specifically targeted
photographers and media teams streaming the event live on the internet."
Do any Slashdotters have eyewitness reports to share? There seems to be a
lot of misinformation originating from all parties involved making it
difficult to know how large the protest actually is at this point and
whether or not the police are being quite as universally violent as the
protestors imply.

[0]jfruhlinger writes "Today Google and the Israel Museum have [1]made
the famed Dead Sea Scrolls available for online viewing. This is a great
step forward for scholars and those curious about [2]the oldest known
copies of many biblical texts. But why has it taken nearly 50 years for
the contents of this material to be made fully public? Blogger Kevin
Fogarty thinks the saga of the scrolls since their discovery along with
the history of religious texts in general is a good example of [3]how
people seek to gain power by hoarding information. In that regard, it
holds some important lessons for the many modern debates about

An anonymous reader writes "The Atlantic has a story about the slow pace
of technological innovation in higher education, highlighting [0]the
reluctance of many universities to take parts of their curriculum online.
'[L]ack of funding isn't the only reason that the traditional
universities and colleges aren't responding with their own strategic
acquisitions. In all industries it's hard to convince successful
incumbents that innovations at the low end of the market really matter.
That was true even for Sony's Akio Morita, whose top executives didn't
like his Walkman, which had no recording capability; it seemed smarter to
focus on more-sophisticated products for the high end of the consumer
electronics market. Regard for tradition and academic freedom make it
particularly hard to undertake apparently low-quality innovations in
higher education. But that's true to varying degrees in all industries.
Whether the business is computers chips or steel, successful incumbents
have difficulty responding to disruptive technologies, often until it's
too late.'"

+--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hitting the main page for the first time, [0]tibit writes "In an
interesting twist on 'it's so old it's new again,' Johns Hopkins
researchers led by Dale Roberts found what must have been causing much
confusion for doctors the world over: strong external magnetic fields can
stimulate the semicircular canals, causing vertigo and nystagmus
(pendular eye motion). It's a textbook case of the Lorentz force in
action: our angular rate gyros, the semicircular canals in the middle
ear, filled with [1]endolymph, have a ionic current flowing across. In a
magnetic field, the current produces a force that pushes the lymph along
the channel, causing stimulation of the cupula a pressure sensor at the
end of the channel. This is [2]interpreted by the brain as rotation of
the head in space, and causes a nystagmus that's supposed to stabilize
the image on the retina. Of course, the subject is laying down and not
spinning in space, and the mismatch between inertial measurements coming
from the ear and the real situation causes vertigo."

colorful lorikeets have to be rescued because [0]they appear drunk, fall
out of trees and even get a hangover-like sickness. No one knows quite
what's going on, but the best explanation is they get smashed from
fermented fruit. From the story: 'Experts say they are not sure if the
lorikeets are actually drunk, but they do have tell-tale symptoms. "They
exhibit odd behavior like falling over or difficulty flying [and] they
keep running into things," says Darwin vet Dr Stephen Cutter from The Ark

[0]coondoggie writes "NASA today said a [1]strong-to-severe geomagnetic
storm is in progress following a massive solar flare and coronal mass
ejection (CME). CMEs are a solar phenomenon that can send solar particles
into space and affect electronic systems in satellites and on Earth.
Simulations indicate that solar wind plasma has penetrated close to
geosynchronous orbit starting at 9am today. Geosynchronous satellites
could therefore be directly exposed to solar wind plasma and magnetic
fields. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras after
nightfall, NASA stated."

+--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An anonymous reader writes "Michael Geist has followed up a [0]recent
release of internal government talking points on copyright with the full,
[1]internal clause-by-clause analysis of Bill C-32. A new copyright bill
is expected as soon as this week and the government document confirms
there is no defense to violations of the digital lock rules, noting 'a
contravention of this prohibition is not an infringement of copyright and
the defenses to infringement of copyright are not defenses to these
prohibitions.' The government's own words on the digital lock provisions
confirm that they may be unconstitutional since they fall outside the
boundaries of copyright." Basically, if you break DRM even without
violating copyright in the process you can still be held liable, and from
this any defense based on copyright law (fair use, etc.) is not valid in
such cases. On the flipside, several legal experts think that makes those
provisions of the law less likely to stand up in court.

[0]eldavojohn writes "Researchers at Purdue University's Birck
Nanotechnology Center have released news of a [1]proof of concept new
ferroelectric transistor random access memory or 'FeTRAM.' This new
technology is nonvolatile and the researchers claim it could use up to
99% less energy than current flash memory. Unlike most FeRAM technology
that uses a capacitor, FeTRAM provides nondestructive readout by storing
information using a ferroelectric transistor instead. From the article:

processes for complementary metal oxide semiconductors, or CMOS, used to
produce computer chips. It has the potential to replace conventional
memory systems.' So if they get this into production, you might not have

+--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

V!NCENT writes with news that researchers at Tel Aviv University have
[0]replaced a synaptic microcircuit inside a rat's cerebellum with a
fully synthetic version, while maintaining proper functioning. The
targeted area of the rat's brain involved its ability to blink its eyes
in response to particular stimuli. "To test the chip, they anesthetized a
rat and disabled its cerebellum before hooking up their synthetic
version. They then tried to teach the anesthetized animal a conditioned
motor reflex a blink by combining an auditory tone with a puff of air
on the eye, until the animal blinked on hearing the tone alone. They
first tried this without the chip connected, and found the rat was unable
to learn the motor reflex. But once the artificial cerebellum was
connected, [1]the rat behaved as a normal animal would, learning to
connect the sound with the need to blink." Study author Matti Mintz said
of the work, "It's proof of concept that we can record information from
the brain, analyze it in a way similar to the biological network, and
return it to the brain."
